About

The purpose of the West Los Angeles Young Democrats will be to pursue the ideas of liberty, justice, and freedom for all regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or income. We shall pursue these ideas through the support of the candidates and ideas of the Democratic Party.

The West Los Angeles Young Democrats club started in 2017 in the wake of Donald Trump’s election* to the presidency.

 

*It is important to note that while Donald Trump did receive a majority of votes in the electoral college, making him the President of the United States, a greater number of Americans voted for Hillary Clinton than for Donald Trump. 65,844,610 Americans voted for Hillary Clinton, and 62,979,636 Americans voted for Donald Trump.
